Kuunda 3D partners with Tinkerine to get 3D printers in schools

We are thrilled to announce a partnership with Canada’s best 3D printer manufacturer, Tinkerine. Not only does Tinkerine make fantastic printers (which you can buy from us), they also have a strong focus on Education and are working hard to get 3D printers into schools – so all children have a chance to learn what this great tool can do. We also have that same aspiration here in Tanzania, so we are very happy to collaborate with the Tinkerine team.

They’ve built Tinkerine U, a platform for 3D printing tutorials, lesson plans and some amazing weekend projects. Our favourite is the Hover Ring – an actual working hovercraft built from 3D printed parts and a few other electronic components!

Want to build this hovercraft, or another of Tinkerine U’s weekend projects, but don’t have a 3D printer? We can help you! Contact us for help with printing the pieces and even sourcing the electronic components.

We are also looking for new ideas for weekend projects – so please let us know what you’d like to build on your weekend.
