Why ‘Kuunda’?

If you don’t speak Swahili, you may be wondering why we are called ‘Kuunda 3D’. Well, ‘kuunda‘ roughly translates into ‘to make or assemble from pieces’ or just ‘to make or create’. And that’s what we are all about – empowering others to make, create and assemble new and useful items to solve problems.

kuunda = to assemble, put together or make

We assembled our own printers here in Dar, and now we are helping to assemble all sorts of cool objects from a roll of plastic filament. And, more importantly, we are assembling the next generation of entrepreneurs and problem solvers 🙂
